About

I am an Air Force wife local to Moody AFB and Valdosta, GA. I have two very sweet and rambunctious boys of my own and I'm expecting our third! I became a mom at a young age, almost nine years ago. The struggles I felt while transitioning to a mom for the first time seemed daunting to say the least. There was no instruction manual for how to be a mom. I constantly questioned if I was doing things right or if I would ever be good enough as a mom. And then.... the breastfeeding issues started. My story is just one of thousands of very similar stories. I had no education on how to feed this baby during my pregnancy. I knew literally nothing. My baby wasn't latching great. I had a lot of pain with nursing. I was so worried if he was getting enough breastmilk. Above my own concerns, there was no one around me that I could go to for help. It was isolating. I felt helpless. This lack of accessibility of support for moms is EXACTLY what ignited my fire. This is where my passion began. I knew I wanted to truly be the person I wish I had when I became a mom.

After successfully breastfeeding my oldest son I went on to work as a WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselor for five years. I loved working with moms. I really felt I had found my calling in that role. But, I was hungry for more knowledge so I would be equipped to help in every struggling breastfeeding scenario.

During my time at WIC I took on 5 years of lactation education and training to be all that I could be as a lactation consultant. I ran breastfeeding support groups, taught prenatal breastfeeding classes, I worked in the hospital on the postpartum floor, I have thousands of clinical hours supporting hundreds of breastfeeding families under my belt.

Now here we are today. I have been an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) for the last three years.  I am officially certified to help in every struggling breastfeeding scenario. I love to support, educate, and empower new moms. It truly brings me so much joy to see them succeed.

"As a first time mom, you want everything to be and go perfectly. I struggled with not knowing what my body was doing when my milk came in. I remember being in tears and messaging Paige for help. She came as fast as she could, respectfully asked to examine and see the problem. Once she figured it out, she told me what I could do to alleviate my pain and that involved a hot shower. She even held my little baby while I took a shower. Paige is so incredibly kind, professional, respectful, and offers help with zero judgement."
